Those pics and that SITE show the most disgusting things since... autopsy closeupss on CSI.
Is that site real? Do people make these piles of 'food' to photograph just for this site? I cannot believe people can stomach them.
The word FAT has to come back into the language.

The SITE is equivalent to putting on your week's fag ends in a jar of water to see the ghastly mess. This is your lung on cigs...

First, I love that you say "fag ends" instead of "cigarette butts." I'm not sure I can pull it off, but that's going straight into my lexicon.
As for whether the pics are real or not, I think it's a combo of staged photos and real photos. Like anything, once it caught on there were probably plenty of people who decided they would do whatever it takes to get some absurd concoction on to the site. But several of these food items I've seen elsewhere---like deep fried Twinkies, deep fried Mars bars, and one of the pizzas. I've even had a deep fried Twinkie.
Also, these pictures are why you can't just say "it all ends up in the same place." It matters in what forms it gets there. It matters a great deal.
